As we plan our 15th summer of retreats, we remain committed to one unchanging truth.

Since 2010, the world young people navigate has changed dramatically, but the need for teens to have space to go Inward has not. Another thing that hasn’t changed: our unwavering commitment that no teen is turned away for lack of funds.

In 2026, we are still Summer Bound. Meditating together, laughing together, being vulnerable together. Accessible to every family.

This summer, we will open our doors to teens from across the country who need exactly what the world makes it hard to find right now: stillness, community, and the chance to simply be. You can help ensure retreats are available to every teen who wants to attend, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

I am surprised by the person I was, and the person that I became on such a short retreat.

I felt so included and loved on this retreat from the minute, second I got here.

The world teens navigate today is noisier, faster, more demanding, and in many ways lonelier than it was in 2010. Despite these statistics, teens still ache to be seen and crave genuine connection—the kind that can’t be liked or shared.

In 2010

1 in 5 Americans owned a smartphone. Most teens had a flip phone or none at all.

In 2026

95%

of teens own a smartphone—and pick it up 51 times a day.

We see it happen every summer. When teens spend a week away from the noise, in a community of supportive peers and adult mentors, the seeds are planted and their lives are changed. Donate today to help teens foster resilience and a deeper sense of belonging.
