2026 City Kids Spring Break Mindfulness Retreat

Embrace the Wild Within: Mindfulness Retreat

Life in the city can be loud, busy, and nonstop. This spring break, we’re creating space to slow things down.

April 14-16, 2026

Embrace the Wild Within is a three-day, two-night retreat for City Kids teens to unplug from technology, breathe, and connect — with themselves and with each other. We’ll spend time reflecting, moving our bodies, having real conversations, and building community in a way that feels relaxed and supportive.

This retreat is about:

  • Taking a break from stress and screens

  • Getting to know yourself better

  • Building real connections with other teens

  • Expressing yourself through movement, creativity, and conversation

It’s ok if you don’t have experience with mindfulness.  This retreat is meant to feel like recharging your batteries, and it’s ok to come just as you are!

retreat teachers & staff

Inward Bound retreats are led by adults with years of experience serving and working with teens and young adults, alongside their own longstanding mindfulness practices. Our diverse staff walk their talk in their professional and personal lives, and devote themselves to creating a unique and safe container for all to be welcomed, be real, and be accepted.

I experienced a confidence I’ve never had before. I want to take that with me.

— Sage, 17-year-old gender fluid attendee
